Campsites

Camping at motorway service stations is allowed for up to 24hrs.

Most campsites accept the Camping Card International (CCI). For a good range of campsites for the World Cup in Germany we think Canvas is a good idea.

In Germany it is common practice for campsites to close for a midday rest period (Mittagsruhe).

The German Camping Club's contact details are:Geisbergstrasse 11, Sch erg, 10777 (218 6071/ 72/213 4416). Open 10.30am-6pm Mon; 8am-4pm Wed; 8am-1pm Fri.
Most of the campsites are a fair way out of town so check the buss timetables. For tents, expect to pay around

€3.75 rent for up to four square metres; for caravans €6.45; plus €4.95 per person and children aged 6-14
€2.30 per night.
